To Hansaduta das:

The devotees may leave, the temples might fail but my books will live forever
If a person doesnt chant hare Krishna, then his devotional service becomes karma
Krishna fulfills all desires...it just may take a little time
Prabhupad was exactly like his books
Prabhupad responded to enthusiasm, not scholarship or expertise
The pure devotee doesnt do anything extraordinary, but extraordinary things happen around him...
Dont worry about money, try to do something wonderful for Krishna and money will come

To Umapati swami:

If you have illicit sex in Vrindavan then you will be born as a monkey in Vrindavan…but stop this monkey business.
If you give the deities rotten flowers, they will not say anything but your life will be ruined.
Ravi shankar (the sitar player) is a businessman, his music is sense gratification music..if he wants to be a devotee, let him come
Love requires free will; you cannot force someone to Love you
Its said in the vedas, a place where the sun doesnt shine is a condemned place

To Sachinandana swamis' father:

You can become Krishna conscious in suit and tie
Krishna consciousness is not a matter of culture..externals..clothings etc, its inner

(about preaching to rich but non Krishna aware people) -- ”You have been rich but when death comes all will be gone”
"They may become angry…just like when you shake your stick to a dog he might also become angry..so you have to learn to talk to this class of people"
I'm not interested in talking to someone because they are famous but because they are interested in God.
How is it like to be with God? — “without fear”, “jolly”!
(talking to a boastful person) "You are not the most anything (so dont try to brag about your devotion)
Ego is such an obstacle to devotion; cut through it by surrendering to Krishna

To Charu das:

The practical benefit of chanting is that it will save you from death
Prabhupada was exactly like his books..one neednt be in the physical presence of Prabhupada

To Tejiyas das:

My spiritual master liked me..I listened to his words very carefully
Your anxieties are about pleasing Krishna, so they are transcendental…like mother Yasoda, she is always in anxiety

To Gokularanjana das:

Vedic society is based on Love…a perfect society is based on Love not laws.
- if the citizens Love you they will automatically want to follow your laws
- if we govern according to Bhagavad Gita we will get perfect society
you can never outsmart your spiritual master

To Dhaneshwara das:

When a disciple is strictly following the orders of the spiritual master then he is ‘beautiful’ otherwise he is ugly
Just do your ‘levelheaded’ best for Krishna…
Drinking tea is in mode of ignorance but not a sinful activity…
- (this is why Srila Prabhupad provided a mud oven for making lifemembers tea at the Vrindavan guest house so they dont have to go out to the streets to drink tea and mix with non-devotees)
Worship of spiritual master must include worship of krishna
- (thats why after Srila Prabhupa guru puja there is Hare Krishna japa)
Life comes from life not from matter…just convince this to general public
Depend on Krishna and Krishna will save you
Prabhupada started Spanish thus -> aaah buenos dias = good day
Materialistic society is running…man on four tires, dog on four legs..for what? for sense gratification…
The beads should always be around your neck or in a bead bag…(only)
Out of the 4 bodily material activities - eating sleeping mating defending - (over)sleeping is the most degraded…it leads to the other 3
If you are not determined then you are an animal..animals have no determination
My duty is to make you Love me more
When smell goes then death comes soon

To Satsvarup maharaj:

"I will Love you, if you will Love me”
Initiation is like braking of Karma..it doesnt immediately stop karma (like the blades of a rotating fan dont stop immediately when the power cable is yanked)
If someone refuses to give you something, ask them to write it down why not
Proof of life after death, and other spiritual matters is not just a matter of faith or analogy..its a matter of Krishnas authority
(..the soul is eternal..it doesnt die..Krishna states..)
Prabhupada’s Love makes him develop the souls of his disciples to present them to Krishna for freedom
Somebody asked Prabhupada what do you feel when you chant — He replied “I feel no fear”

Rameswar das:

The first time I met Srila Prabhupad was through his book (Iso-upanisad)*
There is no resignation in spiritual life…once surrendered to Krishna, it can never be withdrawn
This is an educational institution and we are teaching Krishna consciousness.
You cannot advance in Krishna consciousness unless you are joyful.
Pujari is 5th class - anyone can offer some tulasi and water - preaching is 1st class

Narada muni das:

vani (presence of spiritual master through transcendental media of sound vibration) is greater than vapu (physical presence, physical form) **
Relationship w spiritual master and by purport relationship with Krishna has nothing to do with bodily concept
Everyone for next 10k years can have same experience as direct disciples
His books, his lectures, his remembrances are just as good

** <so is a living spiritual master really required?>
